We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Sanz Galli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natalia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
For me, Vita Mia was a way to move forward while giving something back to the community, not only by offering healthy foods, but also by contributing to the environment.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my business this year. I’m someone who always moves forward with my convictions and what I want. I’m still fighting to get ahead — it hasn’t been easy. The challenges are really tough, especially when you’re starting a business alone. I’ve learned many lessons along the way, and every single day is an important lesson since this is my first business.

About me, I’m not really focused on having the world know something special about me personally, but I do hope everyone can get to know Vita Mia, enjoy it, and reconnect with the roots of shopping — going to the market to buy truly healthy, genuinely good food. I want people to have the freedom to buy only what they really need, without wasting anything. That’s my simple message

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Right now, I don’t feel ready to answer that question so specifically, since Miami is such a big city with so many attractions. I really couldn’t give a concrete answer

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
More than anyone, my family in Argentina.
