We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathan Roman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nathan, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Creatio has been authenticity and heart. At its core, Creatio was built with a genuine passion for guiding young artists, not just to act, but to discover who they are through the art of performance. Our approach isn’t about chasing fame or immediate results. It’s about creating a safe, nurturing space where kids and teens can grow artistically and emotionally, whether they’re just beginning or already working in the industry.

Because we’re an independent company, we’re free to focus on the student, not a business model. That means we can tailor our coaching to each young actor’s needs, help them develop their materials, and when they’re ready, connect them to opportunities and industry professionals. And what makes us different is that we’re not just training performers, we’re mentoring people. We help them build confidence, resilience, discipline, and a real love for the craft.

I believe that’s why even in a short amount of time, we’ve seen students book roles in productions from major networks like ABC, appear in films in Los Angeles, work in national commercials, and be accepted into top-tier acting programs. That’s not just success, it’s purpose. And we’re just getting started.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At Creatio, we help kids and teens explore acting in a way that feels exciting, supportive, and fun. Whether they’re beginners or already auditioning, our goal is to guide them in discovering their own voice and confidence through storytelling and character work. We blend technique with imagination, structure with creativity, always making sure they feel safe, seen, and inspired.

What truly sets us apart can be found in the smile of every child we work with. This isn’t a high-pressure or competitive environment. We help our students fall in love not just with acting, but with the process, the journey of building a character, connecting with a script, and growing through each experience. That joy is what keeps them coming back, and what keeps us going.

Starting Creatio wasn’t easy, I built it from scratch while juggling work, auditions, and learning how to run a business. But every challenge has been worth it. I’ve learned that the most important thing is consistency, heart, and staying true to the purpose: creating a space where young actors are nurtured, challenged, and truly celebrated.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
That’s a great question, but I’ll kindly pass on this one, thank you for understanding!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by generous, hardworking people who’ve supported me from the start. One person who has played a vital role in the growth of Creatio is Sandra Pulido, whose dedication, organization, and belief in the vision have helped make many of our classes, events, and behind-the-scenes operations possible. I’m deeply grateful for people like her, who give their time and energy to help build something meaningful for the next generation.
