Meet Nichelle Morgan | Licensed Esthetician & Software Tester

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nichelle Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nichelle, what do you attribute your success to?
For me seeing where you were before, feeling unfulfilled & unhappy; these factors fuel my determination. Also I enjoy what I do, studying the skin care industry, becoming familiar with new trends, thinking of new products, this keeps me on my toes. They play a major role and helps me in developing the path I want my brand to go. Staying determined and making sure I absolutely enjoy what you do!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Professionally I am into software testing so I play a little in that field. My main focus is building Nu Isle Beauty into a skin Care and lifestyle brand. I want to drive the company into becoming the go to brand for clean, effective skin care and providing products for the average man & woman; that go to line they will always reach for. While starting this skin care ive has been a difficult decision that came with the question of “how will I do this?” “what if I fail?” “how will I support myself?”. I’ve learnt to look at the bigger picture of being happy and understanding that while I want to be successful now, it will come with hard work, staying focused. (as cliche as that may sound) most importantly I have learnt to trust myself & have faith (my Jamaican family must be proud that “keep di faith” stayed in the back of my head growing up. I want the world to know that my brand is for everyone, not only helping them to look beautiful on the outside but recognizing the person you are and exuding the confidence within. It is important for me that everyone, especially men, knows that Nu Isle can be trusted with their skin and the brand helps them to maintain great skin. I am most proud of starting, honestly I was the hardest step and seeing that I took that leap, I am pleased. I am very excited for the opportunity to have my brand grow, I see it happening and that is what is giving me the fuel to continue.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ahh Yes! While my friends that visit me here may think I am a homebody especially during COVID-19, I have found some gems in Miami and the Fort Lauderdale area. Lets start with brunch! The best spot Lona, Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. They have the best Mexican cuisine and is the best place to sip on mimosas while looking across on the beautiful turquoise waters on a Sunday morning For drinks I’d recommend Sugar Cane Bar in Mid-Town Miami drink menu 10/10 would definitely recommend. For dinner Juniper on the water is a must also STK is top on the itinerary. I love hanging out in the design district. Checking out the art around the city and various art & fashion museums. When in South Florida one has to experience watching the sunrise or a long morning walk on the beach while I am a island girl, the sunrise on the beaches here is truly something to witness, the best way to start your day. South Florida is a melting pot of different cultures and cuisines, whether Caribbean, Latin, Chinese, you definitely have to experience the food& music of the people that live here. See what makes our community the best in the nation.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God & my family plays a HUGE role in what I do. Without their shoulders to lean on I would be lost, I truly thank them for all their support and responding to my panic calls even at 2 am in the morning. The messages of encouragement; they have no idea how far their love goes. Especially Zachary my boyfriend who is a Graphic Designer who always see’s and understands my vision & brings them to life and really has shown me a lot of strength I didn’t know I had. My faith has really been tested in starting my skin care brand, I am really proud of how it has grown.
