We had the good fortune of connecting with Zach Windahl and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zach, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When we first started out, I had just returned home from a very intense training program in Australia where we studied the Bible for 70 hours per week. From that experience, I had pages upon pages of notes and my thoughts on different passages of the Bible. And even though I grew up in church I was very overwhelmed with the Bible and thought it was a boring, irrelevant book. Until now. The more people I talked to about being raised in church had similar perspectives as me. So, first, I saw a problem. Secondly, I knew that I needed to create a solution that was easy to understand and fun to use. From there, I developed The Bible Study and, today, our company continues to create tools to help people understand the Bible and grow in their relationship with God.

What should our readers know about your business?
At the brand Sunday, we know that people want to grow in their relationship with God. In order to do that, they need to understand the Bible better. The problem is that seems like such a big task, which can be overwhelming. We think it should be easier, so we simplify things for you. Here’s how it works: 1. Select your products. 2. Be consistent. 3. Grow in your faith. Over the last few years, we have had the honor of helping hundreds of thousands of people stop feeling overwhelmed and start being confident in their relationship with God. We don’t take that lightly. Every day we are blown away for the support of our products like The Bible Study, The Best Season Planner, Bible Trivia, etc, and we couldn’t be more excited for the rest of the year as we release new products in the wellness industry, a kids book, and a business book that provides you with all of the tools necessary to launch a business that changes the world. Can’t wait!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this so much because this scenario happens at least twice a month for me. I’m originally from Minneapolis so I have the honor of hosting a lot of friends when they visit, all in hopes of getting them to move down here. My plan has worked for 2 people so far! And more to come. Ok, so I usually have people fly in Friday night until Monday morning and this tends to be the layout of our schedule – give or take a few things. Friday night: Walk around Wynwood 1-800-Lucky for a late night poke bowl Fireman Derek’s for a crack pie Saturday: Breakfast at Macando Coffee Spend all day at the beach Dinner at Finka Boca House for milkshakes Sunday: Breakfast at La Social Lunch at La Latina Paddle boarding out on Key Biscayne Night service at VOUS Church Dinner at Suviche Monday morning: Visit Robert Was Here fruit stand Knaus Berry Farms for cinnamon rolls Drive guests to the airport

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Major shoutout to VOUS Church here in Miami. I actually moved to South Florida in order to be part of the community that VOUS has developed. We have the most incredible pastors, Rich and D.C. Wilkerson. I’m continually inspired by their heart for the city of Miami and how they just want to spread love to everyone, no matter what you believe.
