We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Minotti and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my own business for a combination of reasons; first my passion for beauty and self care. My enthusiasm for these areas drove my dedication and determination. I also came from working at a huge franchise and wanted to open a space that was intimate and offered a more personal experience. The beauty industry is constantly evolving and being able to have my own creative freedom to experiment with new products , techniques and trends has been such a game changer for me. Flexibility and independence; also a big one for me 🙂 I will say being your own boss definitely has its ups and downs, but its very rewarding at the end.

Please tell us more about your career. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Customer service and experience. I believe I’ve been successful to this point primarily based on these two. I make it my priority to provide personal and customized services for each of my clients. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come seeing my vision turn a reality. Truly I’m most excited for where I’m going, all that’s in store, Big things are coming soon 🙂 Reflecting on my journey, which in a few months, I will be 13 years in this industry. I would say again, my passion, training and experience has been the framework for my success. Was it easy? No! I certainly had my challenges. My mindset is that every thing has a solution, one way or the other its gonna work out. So I pushed through anything that came my way. Lets not forget I started my business a few months before COVID, (that’s a whole other interview 🙂 )

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So I live in the Fort Lauderdale area, but everyone knows Miami is where its all at. Some of my favorite restaurants are down there. To date, NOVIKOV is my all time favorite! Carbones is a close runner up. They are both are so good and have been most consistent. I don’t drink, so suggesting bars, would be based on what I hear. The beach is always a good time. Walking around , people watching … shopping… My recent favorite thing to do is get these “resort passes” to spend a day at a hotel, use their facilities , order food, always a good time.
