We had the good fortune of connecting with Nitika Ahmed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nitika, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The power of purposeful living and the importance of knowing who you are. When I was in college I was in an abusive relationship that completely destroyed me mentally, physically and emotionally. On July 2nd 2019, I called my mom to help me. I packed my bags and flew back to Seattle, WA. I thought that removing myself from that toxic environment would be good but, in actuality I escaped the abuse but I was left with the damage, I did not know who I was anymore I wrote out a list to figure out who Nitika is. I wrote down what I liked, disliked, loved, what I valued, who I wanted to become.

I would listen to motivational videos, sermons and daily affirmations to re-frame my brain and destroy limiting beliefs within myself so that I could like a life of purpose. I would look at myself in the mirror and read off a list of the woman I want to become and the woman I wanted to love. I told myself that, I would not stop pursuing her until I am her. I was able to gain the tools and the guidance to be able to help other women regain their power back, find their purpose, build their confidence and destroy limiting beliefs so that they can experience a total360healing.

Which brings me back to the reason why I became a Certified Life Coach and opened up my own private practice Total360Coaching, LLC. I am not here to just empower curvy women I am not here just to empower black women I am here to empower, inspire, lead all women on their journey to a Total360Healing.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Certified Life Coach and CEO of my own private practice Total360Coaching, LLC. I have always had an interest in why people act or think the way they do, how environments shape success and the correlation between childhood trauma and self belief. Growing up I have struggled with my self esteem, confidence and overall self worth which led me ending up in an abusive, narcissistic and manipulative relationship because I was searching for validation and at the time was willing to accept it from anyone. Once I got out of the relationship I realized how important it is to take your power back and always know your worth, I was determined to create a program to help others achieve the same goal. My practice is purpose based and I teach others three important keys. 1. How to get to the root of the issue within themselves, whether that is dealing with childhood trauma, limiting beliefs, low self esteem or they are stuck in a relationship. 2. I teach my clients how to restore their beliefs and how to obtain their goals. 3. I teach my clients how to live in their purpose with intention and passion so they can feel valued and honored for being 100% authentically themselves. When I was younger I would watch talk shows like Oprah, Dr. Phil, Tyra Banks and I would watch how they would use their platform to help other people get a dream car, or pay for their school, or surprise them with their favorite celebrity or provide a space for healing. I became so inspired I told myself one day I’ll be able to use a platform + my gifts to drive my purpose and help other women evolve into the woman they have always desired to be. I want to help women achieve their highest aspirations and ultimate success by teaching them the power of self love, self confidence, goal management and self worth to ultimately achieve a total360healing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m not really the adventurous type of person but one thing I love about Seattle is how we are surrounded by so much water, it’s beautiful. I would first start out with a nice dinner at Daniels Broiler their steaks and mash potatoes are amazing. Then I would plan a yacht day and do a tour around Lake Washington with some type of refreshing drink mixed with tequila. I like to spend alot of time with my family, we laugh, play games, sing old school music and dance it is always great vibes when we are together. I would probably plan a family BBQ with ribs, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, potato salad and baked beans at the State park in Sammamish or Denny Beach in Kirkland, WA those two places are nostalgic.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My grandmother also known as my nana, Dariel Brown. Ever since I was a little girl I have looked up to her. She is author, organizational consultant, adult educator, Licensed Mental Heath Counselor, Certified Human Behavior Consultant and Business & Executive coach. She has Masters degree in Counseling and Theology. Through her practice and behavior health techniques she has taught me the importance of getting to the root of the issue in any situation and to following my calling that God has put on my life. When I was in college and in the abusive relationship I experienced I realized that I stayed much longer than I should’ve because of my lack of worth, confidence and belief that I deserved so much more than what I was settling for. My nana would do exercises with my to heal that inner child which included in deep conversational session where I had to dig deep and through that process with her I was able to heal from my narcissistic and abusive relationship and giving the little girl inside you exactly what she needed. Which lead me to open up my own business Total360Coaching, LLC.

Dear nana,
I want to say thank you for the woman that you are and for following your calling in life. You have inspired me and mentored me my whole life. I remember when I was younger I would sit on your floor in your office and help you prepare for your seminars.. secretly I was taking notes to prepare for mine one day. Thank you for always believing in my and guiding me every step of the way. I will always be your miracle baby.

Love,
Nitika Ahmed
