Meet Patricio García | Creative Director & MBA

We had the good fortune of connecting with Patricio García and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Patricio, how do you think about risk?
Risk is part of being alive.
I love taking risks. As a creative person, I find things without risk boring. Of course, I mean taking risks in a good, responsible way.
Accepting a new job is risky, as is choosing a career, going on a first date, or ending a relationship. Marrying is a risk, as is starting a life together, partnering in a business, quitting a job, leading people, or allowing yourself to be led. Personally, the greatest risk is having kids (nine months of an emotional rollercoaster for both people and the relationship). Moving to another country is also a risk; I’ve done it twice (after which I said “no more,” but for the reason of having to start all over again).
Taking risks is like being in a casino: it’s the only way to win. However, in life, you might think the next move is risky, but you eventually make decisions after analyzing them, talking to people you trust, or listening to the best consigliere: your heart.
Life is about taking risks to evolve. Risk is pure adrenaline.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m my current studies of an MBA. I read about the art of directing and leading companies It shook me.
For years in my industry, Advertising, talking about ‘Art’ was a RED FLAG, people in companies or even Marketing says, Ad is not and Art, you’re commercial guys like us.
So I’m in the art of making ideas, design, improving messages, brands, and people’s lives (with ONG sometimes) or even improving the ad spaces in a media combining former education, tons of disciplines: Copy, Psycology, Art Direction, Marketing, Digital Strategies, business, data, etc. to create the best solution for my companies or the companies I represent. It’s about trying to elevate the brands value and companies with a good profitable fee for us and even better for the clients, ny having the best result we or I can grow too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well, my Creative Mentor, both times was Esteban Garrido.
First, with my portfolio and give the opportunity to have an interview in my dreamed agencies, I didn’t get hire, but later in life I was promoted by the Interviewers in other job.
Second, he help me to start making move scripts.
