We had the good fortune of connecting with Paul Oviasogie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Paul, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was all about impact and purpose. I’ve always believed in pushing limits, both personally and professionally, and I saw starting my own business as the best way to fully realize that vision. I wanted to create a place where young athletes could not only develop their skills, but also learn values like resilience and consistency that will serve them in all areas of life. I knew it would take hard work, but I saw this as an opportunity to build something meaningful that could make a real difference.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work centers around helping young athletes find their potential, not just in sports but in life. I focus on developing skills that will last beyond the game—like discipline, resilience, and self-confidence. What sets my work apart is my deep commitment to each athlete’s journey; it’s about seeing them grow on all levels. I’m most proud when I see them bring that same energy to their teams, classrooms, and families. Getting here wasn’t easy. Starting a business is full of ups and downs, but each challenge was an opportunity to learn and grow. I learned the importance of patience, of always being consistent in my vision, and of trusting the process, even when results weren’t immediate. There were days where it was tough to keep going, but I reminded myself that the impact I wanted to make was bigger than any obstacle in my way. I want people to know that PAC Performance is about more than training. It’s about creating a lasting impact on young athletes by building character as well as skills. Our story is one of dedication, passion, and the belief that greatness comes from consistent effort and fearless ambition. I hope that, through our work, we’re helping to shape strong, resilient leaders for the future.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I would take them to all the different food spots around the Miami and Broward county. One of my favorite things to eat are hamburgers so my first stop would be Skinny Louies down in Wynwood. After eating there and getting our food digested, I would take them to “The Break Room” which is an indoor stress relieving experience. Afterwards I would have us both freshen up and hit the Improv and Bowlero at Dania Beach for a night of laughs and fun.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I just want to take a moment to shout out my amazing wife for being my biggest supporter and for constantly pushing me to pursue my passion. Without her encouragement and belief in my vision, PAC Performance might still just be an idea. Her faith in me is what made it possible for me to step out and turn my dream of training youth athletes into a reality. Thank you for being my rock and inspiring me to give back to the next generation!
