Prynce Charles, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
Greetings, my name is Prynce Charles Kennedy, hailing from Harlem, New York. I am the owner of a clothing brand known as DOPE LIFE, as well as a luxury lifestyle brand titled LUXXURY GARBAGE. In addition to these ventures, I am an independent singer, rapper, writer, choreographer, designer, performer, and entrepreneur.

Awesome, so we reached out because we wanted to hear all about what you have been up to since we last connected.
Since we last spoke, I have made the decision to relocate back to New York City, a move that has greatly benefited my journey as an independent artist. As with any artistic path, there are peaks and valleys; however, I am supported by a wonderful network and possess a strong belief in my talents. I have successfully diversified my brand, enabling me to create a wider array of products beyond just apparel. In addition, I have been actively releasing music, which can be accessed on all streaming platforms under the name Prynce Charles the Ruler. my journey continues…

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?

What are you most excited about in the coming year?
I recently participated in a interview style show that I co-created with my distinguished colleague, David Briggs, (known for his recent contributions to “BABYGIRL,” featuring Nicole Kidman, and “Palm Royal,” starring Carol Burnett.) The show is called “BACKSTORY,” and it investigates the artistic paths and transformations of various artists. The first episode of “BACKSTORY” is currently available on YouTube. Additionally, David Briggs and I are set to debut a podcast in the spring of 2025, titled “Let Me Tell You SOMETHING,” which promises to deliver captivating and insightful conversations about the modern human experience. I have a variety of design and film projects to anticipate this year, along with the release of new music in the summer of 2025.
