We had the good fortune of connecting with Ramon Valles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ramon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Practically i hated my job and i loved food. I remember watching Anthony Bourdain and thought to myself i would love to that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Im a full time food content creator. I started this project during a pretty hard time in my life (divorce) as a distraction even though from day one i knew this is what i wanted to do. I had a full time job as a audio visual tech and hated it. From the beginning i dedicated around 30 hours a week to creating content. When the pandemic hit and i was furloughed i started treating this as a full time thing while i received my unemployment money.

During that summer i started doing live videos on facebook and that brought a lot of followers. After that i opened tiktok even though i didn’t like it. One day i did a duet about a piece of pizza and it went super viral bringing me like 100k followers. Now i create content for Tainos Bakery and Grillers Puerto Rico while creating my own content full time.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would probably show them the food scene in Orlando which i already do when friends come over. I love Asian Food so heres a list of some my favorites.
