We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhiannon Morris and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rhiannon, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my company is the personal connection I have with my clients. When they come to my store it is an experience, a service catered to styling them to suit their needs. I take the time to know every one of my clients so I can best assist them through styling by introducing items they already know to love, but by introducing new styles that get them out of their comfort zone in a good way (example- picking out pieces I know they would look amazing in, pieces my client would not typically pick for themselves). My clients trust me, knowing I would never put them in anything that didn’t truly look amazing on them. I text all of my clients to invite them in, showing them the latest pieces that have arrived that I know they’d love the best. Whether I have dressed them once or one hundred times I remember their names, story and their sizes making shopping effortless on their end. I also help my clients curate the perfect gifts for their loved ones year round. Taking the thinking out of what to buy allows my clients to fully relax and have a catered shopping experience that is hard to forget. Through personal styling I help create that inner confidence every woman craves to feel her best.
What should our readers know about your business?
I truly believe my service sets me apart from any other boutique around. We truly love and care for our clients like they are all family. I take great pride in delivering the best styling services and the best brands to my clients every time they are in my store. Due to the pandemic we had moved our business structure to appointment only. We had never just been open by appointments but I knew I felt this was the best decision for our store to keep my staff, clients & community safe and healthy. Going appointment only has been the best business decision I have ever made. It allows me to focus my attention on the client/ clients who are in at their designated time. It creates intention allowing me to put all of my energy towards their needs of the appointment. For example, some clients come in requesting rooms for a seasonal wardrobe update so I pick out the best styles and fits for them and have them waiting for them once they arrive. It is a luxury retail experience, focusing directly on the client which I absolutely love. We have had amazing feedback from our clients who have been in for an appointment and we find our business days more successful as the day is planned. Having structure allows us to complete other tasks more efficiently and faster than if we were just open normal hours as before. It is definitely a new way for retail but I am so excited to continue to see my company grow with our new business model. I had my biggest business month of my career during the month of November, during a pandemic by appointment only. Achieving that is easily one of the best feelings I have ever had as an entrepreneur. The support and love from our clients is amazing and I could never thank them enough!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Karen Klouda- my top client who has turned into family. She is someone who has supported what I love to do from day one. She has never been anything but kind and supportive with decisions I have made for the business and she is always excited to come back for more. People like her are the reason why I strive to be the best version of myself each and everyday. She comes in to my store almost every single week, sometimes more than once and always is wearing product I have styled her in spreading the good word about my boutique in our community. I will forever be thankful for her love and support. When I style her, her happiness warms my heart because I know she truly loves what she is leaving in. She will always say “I never knew I could come in and leave with something I love even more than the last time!” She always puts a smile on everyone around her and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our Radiant family.
