We had the good fortune of connecting with Ricardo Acosta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ricardo, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Some of the habits that have helped succeed will be being a workaholic. Not letting what you can do today for tomorrow. Every little bit of time can be used to create an endless career. 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
To start of , I’m a music enthusiast. I love songwriting and producing in the latín urban music industry. I’m far from where I want to be in the industry but that’s the key of motivation to give the best of me. There isn’t really nothing easy going into the music industry , you’ll have to fight your way through new phases . It’s a very competitive journey which you will have to pour every thought of creativity into a piece of art. Every challenge you’ll have to see it as a stepping stone. Patience is the key to being successful. The world will know my name “ mr3starz “ as one of the best songwriters and interpreter of the Latin music industry .

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being in the historic city of St. Augustine, locally there’s many classic things to experiment. Within the downtown area you can pick up some tasty slices of pizza in PIZZA TIME. Within in steps , you can slide through to the traditional bars in the downtown area such as the “ NO ÑAME BAR “ with a view towards the historic monuments.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Within success there’s many key factors that takes place. I can thank my family and my close circle of friends for the unconditional support throughout my journey. Many times we tend to get in a neutral mood which we all need a push in gear to make it happen. There are a lot of major persons that gave me that push. Let’s start with one of those persons which is my mom with her endless advices of faith. Major shoutout to her for never giving up on me and always making me realize the abilities I have to go the extra mile. In the other hand , there’s persons like the doctor in office , Dr. Thiele , which challenged me to push myself to break boundaries. They will always be road bumps in the journey of success but it’s all about getting through that road. To conclude , there’s a lot of shoutouts to be made and everyone that has contributed to my success in the music as well as daily job deserves a shoutout !
