We had the good fortune of connecting with Sanford Rabin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sanford, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to be my own boss and grow a business for myself.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always taken the entrepreneurial route on my career path, Ive never had a typical 9-5 job. Ive always aspired to be my own boss and grow a company for myself. One of my goals has always been to own a business that contributes and supports the community and gives back to those in need. Im in a position now where I have the ability to influence others and give back to the community. Miami is a very cut throat city and the growth of a business is never easy, there have been countless hurdles that I’ve had to overcome and I’m thankful for the support of my friends and family that have helped me get to where I am today.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami is a city that has a bit of everything. Whether you are into fitness or food or adventure or nightlife there are places and activities to suit everyones needs. A couple places in Miami that are not to be missed are The Broken Shaker (bar), Skatebird Miami (skatepark), Enriquetas (Cuban restaurant), Lincoln Road (outdoor shopping mall) and of course cant forget the beach!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shoutout to the rollerblading community that supports our shop, my partner Franky Morales and all my friends and family that have supported the growth of our business from its inception.
