Meet Scott Greenberg: CEO, ComForcare Senior Services, Radio Show Host and award-winning author of “Oh My God, I’m Getting Older and So Is My Mom”

We had the good fortune of connecting with Scott Greenberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Scott, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Many seniors, particularly here in Florida, become increasingly isolated as their families are often remote and their friends either pass away or become less mobile. ComForcare Senior Services helps to restore independence and aids in maintaining social interaction. Many people believe that getting help signals the end of their independence when it is precisely the opposite. Helping people with their activities of daily living along with providing greater access to the community at large helps give seniors purpose and restores healthy habits that allow them to live their best life possible.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We’re family owned and operated and there are six of us. We pride ourselves that clients can always reach an owner when they need to. We have very unique and extensive expertise in Alzheimer’s, with three of us as Nationally Certified Alzheimer’s Educators. We are also very involved in Parkinson’s Disease. There are a lot of companies that do what we do. We like to think what separates us is our involvement in the community. We facilitate support groups, speak to groups of boomers and their aging parents, we host music sessions in adult day care centers and assisted living facilities, we teach exercise classes focused on balance and strength to those in independent and assisted living facilities just to name a few.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Palm Beach Zoo, Roger Dean Stadium, Worth Avenue, Kravis Center, Mizner Park in Boca, New York Prime, Okeechobee Steakhouse, The Regional, Casa D’Angelo
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our caregivers, who bravely place themselves in harm’s way, especially during crises like the coronavirus pandemic to ensure seniors can live their best life possible.
