We had the good fortune of connecting with Shae Bynes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shae, what is the most important factor behind your success?
It’s so hard to choose just one, so I’ll share three. Authenticity, Collaboration, and Faith. Authenticity because tens of thousands of people around the globe have connected with the power of my personal story of growing as a Kingdom-driven entrepreneur and leading a movement to help others do the same. Collaboration because every significant stage of our growth has involved connecting and/or working with others. Faith because if I gave up in the hardest years after the excitement of the newness wore off (yet the fruit of my labor simply didn’t seem to be enough), we never would’ve reached our breakthrough moments. Maintaining faith and perseverance as I walked out the God-given vision for this business has been key!

What should our readers know about your business?
One of the most powerful lessons I have learned is that the idea of “hustling and grinding” was not the way to success in experiencing God’s best in business. Grinding is an inferior substitute for working by the power of God’s grace; working in partnership with Him! Since I made the shift, I’ve experienced:
– Supernatural productivity (when God does extraordinarily more than I could’ve even done in my own strength and limited time/resources)
– Peace even when the inevitable challenges show up
– Greater alignment with my calling in business
– Divinely orchestrated relationships and collaborations
– Significant growth in revenues and profitability
– Wild testimonies that have impacted the lives of thousands of business owners around the globe
While I wouldn’t define the journey as easy, it is surely an adventure and one that I can say (with deep conviction) is worth it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Outdoors fun: Definitely the beach (hopefully get on jet skis) and a cruise down the Intracoastal Waterways to see the beautiful homes. Use the motorized scooters to take a little tour around downtown Fort Lauderdale

Shopping: Sawgrass Mills Mall

Eating: Shooters Waterfront, Rocco’s Tacos, YOLO (love the live music!), Coconuts, Casual Stroll down Las Olas Boulevard for shopping and dessert

Catch a show at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my husband of 20 years, Phil Bynes. From the time we started dating at age 16, he has been my #1 supporter and an ongoing encouragement and source of wisdom to me.
