We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheena Eizmendiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheena, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the ability to disrupt cultures and the people I serve is what sets my business apart from all others. I make sure to lead my clients by helping them pinpoint what isn’t working and shift that to finding ways in which they achieve success and progress that is measurable and profitable.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It’s never easy to be a business owner. I started my business when I was 23 years old, recently divorced mom with two small children ages 4 years and 10 months old. At the time, I had no idea how to start a business, let alone, run one. It was very challenging and all the road blocks taught me to be more resilient and persistent. I knew giving up was not an option. The most important lesson was on leadership. I had to learn that being a boss was not the same thing as being a leader. Leaders teach by example and lead their people with empathy and motivate them to be the best version of themselves. The obstacles I ran into inspired me to reach a different audience and serve more senior leader executives and their teams as well as coach people in their personal development helping them overcome trauma, relationship issues, begin their own start-ups and overcome depression.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is a beautiful city with a lot of diversity. There is plenty to see and experience while visiting. If one of my friends from out of town was staying here for a week, I’d like to have them spend some time visiting some of our most iconic areas in Wynwood. Take them to a few spots where they can sample some of the best restaurants and local galleries. Bal Harbour is another very interesting area. There is a variety of fine dining for them to try. Along with a drive to Key West to show them a completely different scenery where people are very lay-back and to try out some of their best seafood restaurants.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to recognize my clients for believing in me and trusting that I can create impact in their lives and businesses.
