We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Hamilton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The most important thing I’ve done , was to quit the 9 to 5. I was able to put much needed focus into my business. Nm

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I come from a family of great cooks. As a child I’d get a stool to see what grandma was cooking. From the southern biscuits to fried chicken, I knew me and Food had a connection. Not only was I a super taster, I live to create and experiment with foods. I decided to follow my dreams later in my life. Going to culinary school to.brush up.my skills and become a expert in my craft.
Realizing this was my calling, I began to manifest opening my own business.
I created That’s My Dog Foodtruck tailoring it around loaded Hotdogs with catchy names.
Introduced it to the world and it was a hit.
We specialize in gourmet eats from Loaded Hotdogs to pizza. Putting a delicious spin on the usual. Taking pride in our Vegan. Soul food.
We set ourselves apart by creating our very own seasonings and sauces, giving you a mouth watering experience you won’t forget.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank Chef George he was my first employer right out of culinary. He was hard on me, later on in my .cooking journey, I realized the need for it.
I also.want to.thann a agency call The Urban operating in Miami , helping minorities start and learn about business.
Special thanks to Keon Williams , who. was my mentor and lead instructor. If not for him. I would not be as successful as I am.
