We had the good fortune of connecting with Veronique Barrillot and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronique, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is that i am the only one in the world who can paint 2 subjects at the same time on the same canvas that can t be seen at the same time..you will see one subject when you are close and another one if you step back . Also scientists studying my brain in Lausanne, Chuv in switzerland helps pointing this discovery.
Giving to see my paintings in different places was also very important like all the exhibition l the GOLD COAST ART CENTER in NY where you can see my double vision.
Also Monaco at the gildo pastor center,in Martigny in collaboration with Gianadda foundation and Haven gallery in palm beach contribute to the success.
My européen contemporary art prize TROPHEE JCHARLES HACHET was also à step in my career.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
After a career in management in France and Following my intuition ,i started to paint murals like in 2013 in NY,at 5PTZ. Very quickly in 2015 i understood i can see and paint 2 superimposed subjects.
Depending on wether you look from near or far ,wether you move forward or backward,you will not see the same painting.
My paintings exist iin the eyes ant the movement of the viewer it is one work with 2 DNA as described by quantum physics.
It really questionnes our perception.
But eventhough i m the only one in the world with this special ability,it is à long road to make people discover the discovery.
One of the reason is that caméras never succeed in showing the subject that the brain sees when you are near.!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to haven gallery in palm beach where they can see my paintings . I will stop at the loic’s bakery in west palm for à pain au chocolat and i Will also make them discover the new private airport terminal Embassair in Miami Opa Locka for thé french luxury that my friends from Dijon brought there!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I really want to thank the expert from the lausanne neurosciences département: Dr Olivier Rouaud and Bogdan Draganski who are studying my brain imaging to show this ability of combining high and low spatial and temporal fréquences.

Also i want to thank all the people who play à rôle in helping to show my double visions abroad like ,Jude Amsel is doing in the US and many others all over the world like Florence and Jmarc Thirion in France
I want to dedicate to all the open minded people who understood that my paintings had à double reality,counter intuitive and breaking with our usuel gaze.
I thank the audience because my paintings only exist in the eye and the mouvement of the viewer. They must be engaged to decipher my work of art.
