We had the good fortune of connecting with Vincent Herrmann and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vincent, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m originally from France and moved in Miami 11 years ago. I’m a self made man and i have never been an employee! Started my first company at 18 years old, I’m 45 now… I have been building my experience as an entrepreneur over the course of the time and throughout all the mistakes and success I have made. Being an entrepreneur is a mindset, accepting rough situation, enjoying small and big success is part of the path. Sometimes you have to jump in and take fast decisions and on the other side, stepping back, sleeping on things to take other decisions. It’s part of the balance to run your own businesses. I consider myself as a brand builder, leading and listening my team in order to get the best of them and serve the company’s goal and purpose. My background is more about communication and marketing in general, but I have acquired a general vision about a business whatever the field is. ICE DREAMS is a new experience, focus on building the brand and its voice, production and distribution until the store shelves. A very learning project with a large scope of work. Pretty exciting….

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
ICE DREAMS is one of the toughest challenge of my entrepreneur life. As written earlier, the scope of work is wide, from production and compliance (alcohol sector is hyper regulated) to distribution. Of course USA is a very large field game, and we are dealing in this alcoholic beverage sector with 50 different countries ! almost. When you start with an idea, finding the name, the first brand sketches, building the production process and unit, convincing distributors to buy and sell your brand in their state… many crucial stages until to see your product on shelves and then first final consumer feedback… it’s stressful but so satisfying when the first results are coming. Despite the pandemic we have opened 11 states last year, and ICE DREAMS is distributed in 18 states in 2021. We are playing in a fast growing category : Reading to Drink. RTD are booming with an upgrowing demand. Alcoholic Ice Pops are a fancy way to consume frozen cocktails, on the go and single dose make them very attractive. ICE DREAMS poptails are fancy, definitely great recipes made with natural flavors and premium spirits. Our colorful tones embody our vibes and lifestyle mindset. Our flavor profiles quality and balance is the key, the branding is an additional undisputable reason of our fast success. to be honest everything has been challenging which make success much more satisfying…

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami has changed so much over the past decade, it’s so interesting to be part of it. Miami is diverse and combines the spice of the city and a very dominant nature all around. I would start with a boat ride, from Coconut Grove marina, to Brickell and quick tour on the river and going back to the venetian islands… this is Miami landscape… city skyline. The ocean in the middle of the city makes Miami so unique. A stop a the hotel Standard is mandatory to understand Miami lifestyle and uniqueness. Many restaurants and places are now the richness of the city, whatever mindset you are in, you can pick what you want. Fun and nightlife, with Iconic Zuma or Mila rooftop restaurant… more laid back with Buena Vista, underground and sparkling Wynwood with a very close chic stop over in the design District… Miami is rich and a succession of small villages and neighborhood. My favorite area, where I live and where our office is: Coconut Grove. Strolling in the Grove is my best, and i love heading a little bit more south and breath the peacefulness of the Fairchild Tropical Garden. This is my Miami… the balance between the city and the nature around.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The value of each company is made by the people working for it. All my entrepreneur endeavors and accomplishment are collectives success. Without my team, the right personalities beside me, I’m and the company is nothing. The human factor is key and is the real backbone and value of a company. Being well surrounded is of course a skill, lead people is another one, but each company I’m running now seat on strong team, committed and devoted. My role is to enhance their skilled and make them feel good as accomplished as human being. I’m deeply thankful about my team mates and of course about the love and support of my loved ones as well. My family, wife and children are my personal motivation, and my closed circle of friends who have always been supportive and beside me in every tough moments… 2020 and the pandemic has definitely revealed the real ones.
