Meet Vivian Arencibia | Retired, Closing Agent & Wellness

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vivian Arencibia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vivian, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I think is the most important thing I’ve done as a parent. The thing I think is the most important thing I’ve done as a parent is to show my kids that all is possible as long as you put in the work and show determination. No matter how big or small, I’ve tried to teach them to complete whatever they start. Once they see that they can do it, they have the confidence to face any challenge they encounter in life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I worked for 30 years at The City of Key West in several positions, with the last ten years being the Executive Assistant to the Mayor and City Commissioners, also during this time I part-timed as a make up artist for events.
After retiring, I decided to take a break for a year and do some much needed traveling.
When I decided to look a for a job I was only looking for something part time, I interview for a front desk receptionist at a Real Estate Title Company and got offered the job during the interview, within 2 weeks at the job they asked if I wanted to be a Closing Agent and I accepted and have been with this company now for 8 years.
I also am an affiliate with two companies one that promotes wellness with peptides and the one is with a Korean Skin Care Company.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my best friend to a couple of sandbars because the boat is the best way to get there. In Key West, I’d take them to all the historical spots, like the Hemingway house and Sloppy Joes. I’d also take them to see the monument of the 90 miles that we live from Cuba. Then I’d take them on a Sunset Sail since we have gorgeous sunsets. Lastly, we’d eat at some of the most amazing restaurants in town.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Parents and my two sons (Christopher and Dylan)
