We had the good fortune of connecting with Vlada Finsky and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vlada, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Our upbringing plays a significant role in our lives. My life was always full of ups and downs, adventures, and risks, but I always had the strength to push through even when things were falling apart around me.

I grew up in a loving and safe environment but with a lack of resources. This has been a plus because it developed my most powerful skill set — adaptability and teamwork. My lack of resources forced me to become resourceful through communications and connections. After I learned that, my story changed completely.
My story has shaped me as a person as well as a professional. I am more than happy to share how my journey has helped me develop traits to make me successful in business as well as in my career.
The first step that I took was to understand what I wanted in life and to say no to everything else that didn’t serve me in achieving my goals. I learned how to be resilient through determination. I learned along the way that it’s essential to have support and a team of people you can trust and rely on.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

My company Opus Design was created in 2017 in Florida, and this was the most exciting time in my life.
Since then, the company has successfully created and constructed properties around the South Miami area.
My goal as a creative director of Opus Design is to find the best solution for any renovation or new construction.
As a designer, I always face different challenges where I need to find a solution. I learned that even a small change could lead you to creative places you never imagined.
As a visionary designer, I can see the potential in numerous spaces and objects to develop beautiful and emotionally pleasing masterpieces.
Opus Design is unique because the company develops residential properties in Florida.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in a beautiful Coral Gables area where tree-lined streets make for an idyllic place to reside. My favorite spots are Viscaya Museum and Gardens, Biltmore hotel, and Mr.C hotel will Italian restaurant Bellini.

Viscaya Museum and Gardens is a beautiful estate that has been preserved and opened to the public. It’s right on the coast on ample grounds and with impressive views.

Biltmore hotel is a majestic, luxurious, palatial premier hotel and a stunning example of European grandeur with its Mediterranean architecture and French and Spanish antiquities with hand-painted vaults.

Mr.C Hotel is well recognized in the Coconut Grove area with its famous Italian restaurant Bellini. From Bellini’s terrace, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Coconut grove skyline.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I had the courage to take a risk to move forward and start my own interior design business, and my spouse supported me and helped me to believe in myself. And then I followed that feeling of excitement and belief that my endeavor would lead to success. Deep within me, I knew that this was right for me. My intuition was leading me toward my goals and dreams.
