Meet Walter Pullom | Fitness Instructor, Brand Content Creator & Science Educator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Walter Pullom and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Walter, what inspires you?
I am inspired by my upbringing with my mother and father, my childhood which is a source of sheer fuel and inspiration for me. My father’s life and all the people whose life he has touched in such a compassionate humane way, his memories and his great legacy is something that burns deep within my soul and deeply inspires me.

My mother inspires me with her great examples of tenacity and resilience. Witnessing the examples she sets, feeds my purpose and I strive everyday to live in such an impactful meaningful way.

I am greatly inspired by the self-journey which began over the past 10 years to curating my own brand. The business goals of working extra hard striving to lay the foundation of establishing a way to take care of my mother and father and a means of providing for my future family.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I cherish my raw work ethic, skills, and realness with a very unique sense of humor which sets me apart from others. I am where I am today professionally through the help of many great, inspiring people and the love and support of my parents. It was the farthest thing from simple & easy, my parents helped me overcome my challenges by giving me the support & encouragement, being very creative through my art or teaching Spin classes.

The most important lessons learned and applied along the way is the greater need for love and healing for fellow man, especially within the past 2-3 years. To do all that I can do to help other people I meet, to be there, and to be accessible for my students (paragraph 5).

When the Covid-19 pandemic unfolded, I remember being very passionate to just create using music technology, creative technology, and my sheer imagination to create beautiful original soundtracks, curating my own soundtracks and visuals to my own world to find peace and joy away from the pandemic world. It took my whole brand to another dimension, curating art for the purposes of great healing.

I am most excited about the fact that I created some of my beginning best work during winter 2020 I have ever done thus far in my life. I created a 39-41 track that I made that is like my artistic pride and joy made during winter 2020 to infuse into my content.

The most important factor that I want the world to know about me, my brand, and story is my love for people. Honestly, the love I feel in my heart towards other human beings and the compassion is shown by actions . It goes beyond having a clientele or customer base but when humans know you truly care about them & brings joy when they see you that right there is a driving force behind the support & success of my brand (The W). To take care of your mental health, physical health & emotional health and to do this for myself, be kind compassionate to others and extend that same olive branch to yourself. Please don’t burn yourself out and run on empty for too long, refill your heart and soul. Be there for yourself lovingly how you would be there for others lovingly.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area, we would eat at Shinjus in Davie or Pembroke Pines, Duffys in Plantation, Florida. If it was a week long trip one day we would hang out at Dave and Busters and the parks such as Central or Welleby Park. Another day we would visit the most interesting places such as the Sawgrass Mall to check out, the local South Florida beaches from Fort Lauderdale & Hollywood Beach, FL and enjoy the beautiful scenery and to have a nice time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my mom and my father. This goes out strongly to my parents for truly being the strong great examples of how to be a great human being and to set forth and stay dedicated to breaking through every goal I set for myself, trial and tribulation. All the hard work and dedication will continue to pay off. Having my parents full support and love means everything to me, I wear it like a crown within me.

My fathers legacy which I carry on for profoundly.
