We had the good fortune of connecting with Warren Minto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Warren, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is Traveling. Traveling gives me the opportunity to see the world and the chance to create and show others the way I see it as well.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is an extension of how i am feeling in the moment. I try to create in a sense that expresses what i am currently seeing. I am most excited for my upcoming projects where i will be able to show the world how jamaicans travel and how we see the rest of the world, all at the same time showing other jamaicans other parts of the world they should explore. Getting to where i am today has been a challenge, a roller coaster at best. There were countless amount of times i’ve wanted to give up and try something else. I have stopped and just decided to not do this anymore and if it wasn’t for friends i would have not gotten to this point at all.

Along the way, I have learnt that nothing in life is easy and if you want to achieve your goal, you have to work. You have to understand that failure isn’t an option its only a part of the process. You just have to keep going.

I want the world to know that I am here. If you want to see the world through the eyes of a Nuerodivergent person, who’s exploring and touring the world, keep watch.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, I always think everyone should explore the whole country and not just one spot.

Sunday- We would go to Coral Cliff for a buffet with a view of the ocean.
Monday- We can then go back to Coral Cliff to watch the live show and enjoy the karaoke show
Tuesday -We can go to Margaritaville in Negril, to enjoy the beach and drink as much alcohol, then watch the sunset at Rick’s Cafe.
Wednesday- Another beach day, Doctor’s cave. We can go enjoy the beach and some thirst quenching Starbucks refresher
Thursday – Lets go to little Dunns River in Ocho Rios and enjoy both the river and sea. With some of the most beautiful scenery. We head home and then Margaritaville Montego Bay in the night for one of the best spots to party.
Friday – We will head to the Parish of Westmoreland to visit the Benta River. You will enjoy the best river this side of the island, listen to the birds and enjoy nature.
Saturday – To end the week we can spend the afternoon at the best herb house, Island Strain/2727. We can enjoy the best known recreational activity of jamaica, and when night falls, party right into sunday morning.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Petra Davis! This is my lifeline, my biggest cheerleader and my biggest support! I don’t know where and what i would be without her. She believed in me when i really thought i should give up trying and has always been in my corner. Would and cannot do life without her. Next would be Stacy-Ann Brown, for making being on the next shoulder, putting me on, the encouragement and the willingness to assist me anywhere necessary. Without these ladies i don’t know if i would have gotten to this point.
