Meet Zachary Cohen | Digital Marketing Filmmaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zachary Cohen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zachary, what matters most to you?
The value that matters most to us is to treat clients the way we would want to be treated. We don’t like fine print, or add ons that are tacked on. We’re upfront and transparent with our pricing and our options. We’re also very excited to work on projects and strive for fast turn arounds because that’s what we would want.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a videographer I am chasing a certain feeling. An overwhelming feeling of awe. I want my audience to feel goosebumps and chills when they watch my videos. From the composition, to the music, to the sound design and how it all comes together to give a sense of amazement and a truly engaging video. Professionally I got to where I am by just creating. I made videos, more and more videos. I worked on small 30 second promos to full narrative productions and everything in between. Was it easy? Definitely not. Mistakes were made, deadlines were way too close, and equipment is expensive especially when you don’t even end up using everything you buy. Work life balance becomes a challenge especially once children enter the picture. However, I would most recommend communication. With your clients, with your partner and whoever else is involved. Making sure everyone is on the same page is key to an easy process. Our brand is definitely unique in that the way we interact with our clients is personable, normal and we are all about being easy to work with. Our flexibility and turnaround is unparalleled and definitely a high selling point for many of our clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We operate out of Boca Raton and there are definitely some great hangout spots we frequent and some amazing places to see. We would take them to the beach of course. There are amazing hikes and parks in the area, from Sugar Sand to Hillsboro El Rio. Granted, many of these are child-oriented parks with great playgrounds. We definitely love going to Museum of Discovery & Science in Ft. Lauderdale and the Frost Museum in Miami.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The person who most deserves a shoutout and recognition in my life is my wife. She has been the best life partner one could ask for. From the very beginning in our relationship she has helped me stay on track and actually turn what was a small hobby into an actual business. Due to her tenacity and determination, we now work together and have a fully fledged business with employees, regular clients, and consistent social media engagement. I am an incredibly lucky man.
