We had the good fortune of connecting with Zak Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zak, do you have a budget? How do you make lifestyle and spending decisions?
Yes of course, I think budgeting and personal finance is crucial for developing a stable lifestyle but also reaching goals. Generally, I strive to follow a budgeting plan that focuses on investing in cash flowing assets before spending on liabilities. This principle means that I aim to have my lifestyle be reflective of what my working income and cash flowing assets produce, while still focusing on saving enough in order to invest in more cash flowing assets. In other words, my most important purchases should end up paying for my lifestyle not vice versa.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Firstly, I don’t really consider myself to be in any specific “place” professionally, but rather just trying to maintain growth as a person and professional. I started my company Z Roberts Promotions in 2017 from a passion for content creation, branding and marketing. The purpose is to use all the tools available to us in this digital age to translate value through social media and other interactive apps and then create tangible results. In the business landscape now I believe many professionals still underestimate the importance of digital marketing and SMM, specifically small business owners, entrepreneurs, and real estate professionals. Some of my favorite areas to work in are Real Estate and retail, or anywhere that cool content can be created and translated into real business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My top places to visit in Miami would be: Coral Gables, Brickell/Downtown, Miami Beach, Wynwood, Florida Everglades and maybe a few days visiting the Keys. I would be sure to try out the Rusty Pelican for the incredible views of Miami, Joe’s Stone Crab and also Cafe Versailles while checking out Calle Ocho.

I would like to shoutout my parents that always support me but also lead by example.
