The most important thing I believe I have done as a parent is go after my goals and dreams. I am actively teaching my children what it’s like to pursue your passions rather than just telling them to dream big, and that they can do anything they put their minds to. I had my first child at the age of 20 and I was far from ready to be a mother. However, I overcame many obstacles and did not let motherhood deter me from going after my goals. The most important thing I feel I I’ve done is to show him that it cost nothing to be kind to one another. Even to those who are not kind to him. We are all going through something and we may not see their struggles. However, there are limits to everything and everyone has a different threshold. It’s also about having balance in one’s life.
