The most important lesson I’ve learned from my music career is to never settle for less and to take everything with a grain of salt because the path chosen isn’t easy. People can be critical and always have something to say, especially when they believe they are trying to help. The most important lesson I learned throughout trying to jumpstart my career is “consistency”. Whatever it is that you do, you gotta stay consistent at it and continuously put int he work; whether that’s doing research and learning, practicing your craft, going out to network, etc. The best way to see results is by being consistent. Everyone has an opinion about what you are doing and you cannot make every person happy. Have your close circle of people who aren’t afraid to tell you when you’re wrong and listen to them. If another person tells you they don’t like your product or photo, and they’re not in your circle, you can’t take it too seriously. Otherwise you’ll go crazy with anxiety.
