Patience. I dreamt up Heaps FOUR YEARS before we launched, and the most valuable lesson I’ve learned is that great things take time. Instead of rushing to market, we focused on getting it right – testing, refining, and learning along the way. That patience gave us the space to define our voice, build a strong foundation, and find partners we trust. I stopped saying “I don’t have time” to do the things that bring me joy & inspiration.
Luckily teaching yoga and being a transformational coach are inspiring and don’t feel like “work” most of the time. But I had to learn to limit how many students and clients I see a day to make sure I had the time to practice, socialize, continue learning, write, paint/draw and sometimes just relax so I could recharge.
