When a pet comes in sick to our animal hospital it can be a devastating situation for the family. I always strive to understand the individual needs of pet parents that rely on us to help their fur babies. I discovered the human animal bond as a child and this emotional bond still drives me to provide the best care possible for the pets that rely on us. As a veterinarian I have taken an oath to protect and preserve that very important relationship between pets and pet parents. Keeping promises to myself. I think that’s a key role in building my confidence in my work, as well as just in my everyday life. Also, while a strong work ethic is key, it can be difficult to hop into the action side and the word “work” itself can bring a level of resistance for a lot of people.
