From the beginning, my goal has always been about more than just business—I wanted to create something that truly helps and inspires others. I’ve seen firsthand how the right mindset and opportunities can change a person’s trajectory, and I felt a strong pull to be a part of that transformation.
Starting my own business gave me the platform to do just that. I wanted to encourage people to think bigger, to push past their perceived limitations, and to realize that a better life—whether personally, professionally, or financially—is within reach. We began as mentors, but we couldn’t help but see that there was more that we could be doing. The Home Team has long provided a STEM program and a Dance program at the Gibson-Bethel Community Center. As mentors, we would observe these programs, and began to recognize we could develop programs that would serve a greater benefit to the community. We approached our boss with the idea of becoming the independent contractors who would provide these programs, and from there, J&J was born. Read More>>
