Julie Robinett | Bakery Owner and Baker

As a bakery owner, I had to ask myself, “What do I want when I eat a sweet treat?” I found that there were two aspects of dessert that were important to me. First, the taste. If I’m going to splurge on a dessert, it better be drool-worthy. Secondly, the experience of where, when, and who I’m with while indulging. Due to these two factors, I decided that my baked goods need to be customized to my customer’s desires. Read more>>

Vaiah | Singer/Songwriter

I would say the most important factor behind success is to always have a clear goal. I personally like to focus on small goals that can be achieved in a shorter period of time instead of focusing so much on the end goal. Julie Belardinelli | Executive Director – Independent Wine Ambassador – The Boisset Collection

I believe the success of my brand (and any brand really) is making sure the customer is engaged and getting their needs met. My business is very personal – each wine tasting experience is different based on the customer’s requirements and needs. It is always better to provide excellent customer service and make sure your client is happy, than to provide mediocre service and not be remembered. My business is basically built on “word of mouth” and referrals so the “experience” and the way you treat people means everything. Read more>>

Karen Gavrilov | Yoga Instructor, Artist, Stylist.

There are a few that are intertwined. Staying true to my own unique vision, belief in what I am creating/doing. Bringing in people who align with, and enhance what we do. And then, keeping ears and eyes receptive for what needs to shift. For example, offering heated Yoga did tempt me at one time, but after sitting with our teachers, and brainstorming, I saw that it wasn’t what our community needed or wanted. It wasn’t even something any of us practiced. Read more>>

Ashley Treadaway | CEO, Executive Fitness Trainer & Delray Beach Community Leader

As a former professional dancer and fitness enthusiast, I’ve spent my life in studios learning and working out. So many studios begin with an exciting vision and overtime become impersonal and mundane. Before you know it, everyone comes in, lowers their head, works out, and then leaves. I’ve always had the dream that a fitness studio could be so much more than a place to simply go sweat. Read more>>
