When I started this line of work, the idea of a woman swimming in a fishtail for people’s entertainment through an underwater viewing window was seen more as a relic of a Time gone by. The Wreck Bar hadn’t any underwater entertainment since the mid 1960’s. It hadn’t become a popular feature in decades. I was always inspired by those who performed underwater shows back in the 40’s-60’s, the Golden Age of Tourism. Having been practically extinct as an entertainment venue, it was difficult to find teachers or mentors in the field.
