One of the most important lessons in my career that I can pass along to anyone considering starting their own business, is to KNOW YOUR WORTH! I started Society Social Palm Beach at the ripe age of 24, which tends to raise a lot of brows. Confidence and a strong worth ethic is key to owning your own business. There is no such thing as “luck,” it all simply comes down to a hard work ethic that gets it’s well deserved rewards in the end. The Value of Yes. This simple, four little word concept has without a doubt made the biggest positive impact my life and in my career. Growing up in New York, my father worked on Wall Street so as you can probably imagine, he was always moving and go-go-go from the trading floor to the lobby to the subway to at least another give plus stops before getting home.
