Meet Mohanii | Content Creator
We had the good fortune of connecting with Mohanii and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mohanii, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Well because I am a passionate person for the arts and always was ever since I was child. I feel like that is the only way for me to relive my childhood the things that made me happy, another reason why I want to tap in to more creative things that deals with art in some shape of form, I want to pursue it for example modeling, arts & crafts, painting, photography/videography. No matter what 9-5 I get I always have some kind of creative career after I get off which is my 5-9 or working 24 hrs thinking how to do more with my content creating, self teaching myself new techniques and new arts and craft that will eventually be a business for me soon!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a content creator there is so much that goes into it with time and creating things where people will genuinely be interested in. There is deadlines you have to meet to get this content back but its no biggie. I am still growing and learning so much on the journey. I want to be able to do this full time one day while still doing my career. Everything I do is content.I never thought in my life I would be doing the things I am doing now such as: Lifestyle, food blogger, fashion creator and more. But I know in whatever path I have chosen it would have still lead me into creating content for myself and other small businesses, bigger brands and restaurants now.
The lessons I learned is that successful people collaborate more, show up for others and being discipline and staying consistent is key if you want people to take your art serious!
I am excited for the new content I am going to be presenting, the companies, brands I will be working with in the near future & rebranding my marketing page!
What set me apart is my voice overs i guess, everyone loves how soft and soothing my voice , my friends call it my sexy voice but really this how I talk lol. I am petite and a black female who is just trying to make it in this world. The road may not be easy, but I am gradually getting somewhere.
I want the world to know that “it may mean nothing to y’all, but it means everything to me”.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my Best friend visiting the area I would start off with the food because we love to eat!, (Sunday) we would visit her family and drop off her daughter with her dad cause mommy is going to be outside lol and get settled in and attempt to play UNO cause I’m bad at games! We would go to the mall and oh yeah we love to shop and get perfumes! but we mostly online shop now. But we would get Mrs.Fields and get our favorite Starbucks order to start the day off right at Pembroke Lakes Mall and run errands around Miami (Monday). Since I’m a food blogger we try to go to different places and try new things so we would def hang out by a nice pool or go to a beautiful scenery spot like Nikki Beach (Tuesday). We would do bowling at Strike 10 drinks & hookah with the vibes (Wednesday). We watch our favorite shows together for example theCHI after getting some Haitian food from Berny’s or caribbean kitchen305 (Thursday). My best friend would cook lasagna for me and our other friends, come over and have a hangout at the crib, eat snacks ,talk and play pictionary probably get on twitch stream! (Friday). (Saturday) night were going to eat at kiki on the river and then after booby trap on the river til were ready to go back home.
I say check out if there any events happening in the city if you want to do some fun activities or check out my page mohaniieats for more spots! but I like museums, the zoo, fly & extreme action park so I would def check the dopest one like superblue & try the different food halls in the city as well.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have a few shout outs in my recognition is friends and music! I know it’s crazy but I get my ideas from music and the word play, how music makes me feel when I am listening to it, while creating content or editing content. Whether I am sad or happy, it helps with a lot of the things I do & expresses the message that I am trying to story tell in my videos. I do have someone special that helps me along the journey and makes it easier for me to see that I inspire someone else or motivate them in some way and also be so proud of the things I am currently doing with my content creation journey, and more to come. so I definitely thank them for that. Also, thanks to the BLK creators group that supports me as well and my friends that see that the greatness in me.
