Meet Isa | Founder of Daily Flows & Yoga Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Isa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Isa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Since the beginning of my journey with yoga, the mat has always been my therapy. It was the one place I could breathe, release, and feel like myself again. I knew early on that I wanted to create a space that could offer that same kind of healing to others.
Starting Daily Flows was about more than opening a studio — it was about curating a wellness space that shared all the tools that helped me navigate life: movement, breath, community, presence. I wanted to build something rooted in intention, where people could move without pressure, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported through every phase of their journey.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I always knew I wanted to have my own business — that was never a question. But the road to getting here wasn’t linear. I dabbled in a little bit of everything: communications, digital media, fashion, marketing. I have two master’s degrees — one in Fashion Merchandising and another in the Science of Marketing — and I spent years building skills in creative and strategic industries. I also had the privilege of working under an incredible mentor who believed in me and really helped me see how all those tools could support something bigger — something personal.
But yoga? That wasn’t part of my original career plan. I didn’t come to yoga for work — I came to it out of necessity. I was battling depression and anxiety, and nothing else felt like it was helping. The mat became a place where I could breathe again, feel again, heal. It became a lifeline. And over time, it grew into a passion I couldn’t ignore. I knew I had to share what saved me.
Daily Flows is where all of that meets — my academic background, my creativity, my business dreams, and my heart. It’s not just a studio. It’s a space I built from scratch with the intention of helping people feel safe in their bodies and empowered in their lives. We blend wellness with warmth, structure with soul. That balance — and the realness behind it — is what sets us apart.
No, it hasn’t been easy. I’ve questioned myself, made mistakes, cried behind the front desk, and learned everything the hard way. But I’ve also grown into the kind of leader I needed when I started. I’ve learned that purpose is louder than fear, and that community — real, human, heart-centered community — will always carry you through.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s that Daily Flows isn’t just my studio — it’s my story. And if I can turn my healing into a space that helps others find theirs, then I’ve done what I came here to do.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit, we’d soak up the best of Miami — starting with a class at Daily Flows (of course), indulging in a facial at Daily Habits Wellness Club, and eating our way through Pura Vida (multiple times, no shame). We’d ride bikes through Key Biscayne, stroll through Coconut Grove, enjoy a sushi dinner at Omakai, and do some very aspirational window shopping around the Design District. And of course, we’d top it off with arepas at Budare Bistro — because my Venezuelan side always makes an appearance. A perfect mix of movement, sunshine, good food, and even better vibes.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt — this journey wouldn’t exist without community. From the very start, the love and philosophy of the yoga world reminded me that healing is possible when you feel seen and supported. That sense of belonging is what I wanted to recreate with Daily Flows.
Every single teacher at the studio deserves credit. This is my first business, and I truly learn with them and because of them. Their passion, creativity, and commitment are the heartbeat of the studio. I’m endlessly grateful.
And beyond the studio, it’s the people who hold me up: my friends, my parents, my partner. Building something from the ground up takes a village, and I’m lucky enough to have one that believes in me, catches me when I fall, and reminds me to keep going when it gets hard.
This space is a reflection of all the love that’s been poured into it — from me, yes, but also from everyone around me.
