Owning a business and having a successful career is nothing that I thought it would be. First of all, I had always imagined I’d go to a great university out of HS and have a promising career, just like how our lives are painted out to be a certain way starting at the age of, “what do you want to be when you grow up?”. We’re conditioned to believe we must follow a certain template and these are the standards we use and live by. These standards are definitely important but should be used as foundational, as everyone processes differently. No one told me I’d end up dropping out of college, no one told me from 16-27 I’d go through 19+ different jobs and still be unsure of what I wanted to do and still be unhappy. The most important lesson that my business has taught me would have to be patience. A lot of times when we look at other successful business owners, we think that’s going to be us over night. I never really thought about how much time and energy I really had to put into it. Being patient has really taught me to take my time and be able to accept the good and the bad. I know my business is not going to become successful over night and I now realize that everyday is not going to be a good day. The most important lesson I’ve learned through out my business is to always stay consistent. Believe in yourself & you will manifest anything you want in your life. I’m a very strong believer that anyones capable of achieving what they set their mind to. To attract better, you have to be become better. You can’t do the same things & expect change. Transform your mindset. Upgrade your habits. Think positive. Be hopeful & consistent with your evolution. It all starts with you & how you feel about yourself.
