My favorite affirmation is do what you can today, and the rest tomorrow. I love this affirmation because as an entrepreneur, mother of two, and wife I have to divide my daily hours between all three of those things. Some days I literally run out of time and then my anxiety kicks into overdrive. It used to be so bad I’d feel like a failure, or I’ll stay up all night trying to finish minuscule things like taping boxes up, mopping the floor, or creating content. This quote literally saves my life because to be honest, if the clothes don’t get folded today, I know i have tomorrow it’s not life or death. If I forget to tape boxes up I know I have tomorrow so I’ll make a plan to get up 30 minutes early to tape them. This quote grounds me, keeps my anxiety at bay, and helps me put things into perspective. Read more>>

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; It’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.” Read more>>

“The woman who does not require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on the planet.” This brilliant quote from Mohadesa Najumi reminds me to lead with heart, embody my truth, and be unapologetic about it. Rather than requiring external validation, it’s a potent reminder that I am not here to fit in… I am here to be revolutionary. Read more>>

“Placidly Amidst the Noise and Haste” This quote came from a band I grew up on named SOJA. Their music echoes much more than just sound but delivers a story, a way of living behind it. To be calm like water amongst the distractions daily life throws at us all. To be calm, relaxed, and able to absorb energy letting it pass through you is what this quote inspires me to take into consideration with everything in life. Nothing should be taken too seriously yet shouldn’t be forgotten to still be a part of the river we flow down. Read more>>

Yes! I think we should all have one! Our quote or affirmation is “Never Give Up Stay Strong”, it is a phrase that after going through many health situations in life such as cancer, we feel that it not only helped us overcome it but also helped us to get out every day moving forward, pushing us to do things thinking not only of ourselves but of others as well, and we see the impact on people that we can reach by encouraging just by reading it, it is incredible. This phrase began when we started running, after Julio, my husband, fully recovered from cancer, and we saw in each race the effort of the people who went through this same situation who fight to overcome, and never give up, and have someone or something remind you of it always is priceless… Read more>>
