I’ve always wanted to pursue a career around being creative and what better way to do it than starting your own business. I wanted to offer something that others don’t. Life happens so fast and we could miss the little things as well as the big moments. I loved the idea of capturing them for you to enjoy it on a regular basis. I did not set out to start my own business. While that was a hoped-for option, the transition was much slower and less planned. I felt it was best to experiment on myself. Try out different logos, business names, web sites, direct email pieces and events that would gain attention. I called it “pretend” work. My thoughts behind my business is that I want all Women, Men and Children to feel confident and to standout in my clothing. Also I want to continue designing for all shapes and sizes because I know that everyone likes clothes. Another thing is clothes are so hard to find in stores. As a matter of fact Mom used to buy all of my clothes and I wear them all, But I wanted to have the clothes that I really like under my belt so that’s why I was moved to start my own clothing line back In October of 2012. Just out of college, I was doing marketing for an insurance agency and although I loved what I was doing, I wasn’t able to be creative enough with the work since it was a 9-5 job focusing on one specific industry. Through the insurance agency, I was doing speaking engagements for local business owners about the importance of marketing and insuring your business.
