We had the good fortune of connecting with Amiel Emungania and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amiel, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
What has always been the most important for me is to realize my potential. Whatever we decide to do, if it matches our potential, we’ll end up doing something great. I have always felt it burns within me, I have always known “intuitively” that happiness can only be found when we decide to have the courage to discover and pursue our potential. By “potential” I mean simply “the will to be someone, to become someone, a better version of ourselves every day and a better human being for us, our family, our friends, our colleagues, the whole world.

At the beginning, it’s hard because we can be shy, we are afraid of the opinions and judgments of others but when we start to avoid those voices that slow us down, everything starts to get interesting and our whole life changes. At this stage, we feel that we are courageous, we gain confidence, we try all the possibilities in our possession and we try again and again until we find something to do that has always fascinated us.

This was how I came to start my own business, not because I wanted to be my own boss (everyone has a boss at all social levels) but for the joy, the happiness that we find when we do something with all our heart, passion and love.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Anything of value is hard to achieve, but it’s worth it. Because as my Master teaches : “When we suffer for something, we automatically create the feeling of love”. It takes years of dedication, of hardwork without ever getting discouraged. This is why the motto of my brand is : “No matter how dark the moment, love is always possible”. Everything is always possible when we really believe in.

I do music, clothes and accessories, digital painting and photo retouching with a particularly black style.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Haha I’ll probably show my best friend the next Love collection from La galerie de l’Amour, drinking a cup of Luc Belaire rosé and talking about the future, things to achieve, love and how we can help people better understand love and live it in their everyday lives.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank my Master Rav TOUITOU, without him I would never have had the strength and courage to create La galerie de l’Amour. All my achievements have been able to see the light of day thanks to him.
