We had the good fortune of connecting with Amit Sounds and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amit, how does your business help the community?
A big part of my work is to push artists, musicians, and bands to go further, believe in themselves, and achieve great things, by creating the best music they can, and putting it in front of the right people.

This new era is the time for us creative people to thrive, I genuinely believe that the next generation’s millionaires are going to be content creators.
All the tools are available, affordable, and accessible for everyone, we’re only limited by our minds, creativity, and imagination.

Create high-quality, unique, authentic products, put in the work, be persistent, and confident.
Sooner or later, you’ll understand the value you have, and how you can leverage it to inspire people to do the same.
This is how you build a community, where everyone wants to work as hard as they can and get better and better at their passions while mentoring others to grow with them.

It’s a perfect world for everyone.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I moved to Seattle in 2016 from Israel, after graduating from college learning sounds engineering and music production. Once in town, I started working for the famous London Bridge Studio, which was a great learning experience, and very exciting, since I grew up on pretty much all the music that was recorded within these walls, from Pearl Jam, 3 Doors Down, Alice In Chains, all the way to Fleet Foxes and Macklamore.

During that time, I started producing local singer-songwriters, and understood my path should be working closely with artists and developing ideas.
I slowly figured the most important thing musicians were lacking of was the guidance of the process.
Like, I saw so many people just spending a lot of money on studios, and don’t really get what they need to develop their musical careers.

So, I opened my own boutique studio, that is a hub for creativity and a safe place to create, and I always focus on the individually planned process for my artists.

I’m a sucker for a good story,
I believe that every piece of art has to tell something, good or bad, deep or shallow.
When I produce music, I try to focus on the story and make sure the listener is walking this journey with the artist and experiencing the full ride.

I do it with every element available, from songwriting to rhythm, chord progression to melodies, performance to the final mix, and master.
I always make sure the song develops, and that the listener will be engaged throughout the whole thing.

Some songs can change people’s lives, and I don’t wanna miss this opportunity.

The best lesson I learned throughout my career was to always over-deliver,
I believe in being a go-giver, in everything I do.
the more you give, the more you’ll receive.
It’s a way of life, and it’s one of the most fundamental laws of the universe, just like gravity.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The pacific Northwest is just a heaven on earth.

Seattle specifically, has a lot to offer, lots of open mics around town.
If you’re after nightlife, I’d suggest to check out the surrounding neighborhoods around Downtown, like Ballard, Fremont & Cap Hill.

London Bridge Studios offers a really cool historic tour of the facilities, where you get to learn about the place, all the music that was recorded there, and a chance to listen to that music on the original speakers in a beautiful acoustically treated room.

You should definitely check out the famous Pike’s Place Market, lots of local art, food and busking musicians.
If you have kids, you should check out Seattle Center and all the museums around like, Pacific Scienece Center, Pop-Culture Museum, and Chihuly Glass Museum, While you there try to catch a concert in the new Climate Pledge Arena.

My favorite observation point of the city is Kerry Park, I used to live 1 block away and visit it daily, beautiful views of the city, space needle, Puget Sound, Mt. Rainier, and the Olimpic Mountains.

If you’re looking for nature, there are endless hikes and trails in a 1 hour radious from the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly, I owe thanks to all my artists, who trust me with their music. I’m truly grateful to each person who took faith in me and gave me a chance to help them and share with me their stories.
Ya’ll make it possible, THANK YOU!
