Hi Anthony, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
For me, starting my own business was mostly about being ready for any opportunity that came my way. I never saw myself as someone who was destined to work for people. To collaborate or be paid for a service, sure, but to answer to a client and a boss; that just wasn’t in the cards for me as a long term solution. So with that said, I always kept my eyes & ears open to opportunities that other people would otherwise be intimidated to take on. I enjoy the unknown to a degree & taking a leap of faith in myself has always been a no brainer. Starting a business however is not for the faint of heart & I was fortunate to start my companies with great partners who shared similar ambitions & perspectives as I.
What should our readers know about your business?
Executive Digital is a full service, global digital marketing agency with 8 offices worldwide. What sets us apart is our human approach to a digital world. In an industry where everyone is looking for push button solutions that are set it and forget it; we employ experts that rely on empathy & critical thinking to maximize the tool sets technology provides. This way, even though we are an outsourced solution, we’re integrated through collaboration of real people. This sets us up as your outsourced in-house marketing team that works hand-in-hand with your entire operations. Scaling a company is never easy, but I wouldn’t trade the challenge in for any other career path. Thankfully I have excellent partners on this journey with me that keep me motivated & provide balance to my madness. Throughout the scaling of Executive Digital & the other projects that we are a part of, the main thing I’ve learned is common sense isn’t that common just like integrity is increasingly a rarity in our industry. Many companies in the digital marketing world are taking advantage of people and we see it everyday when we take over clients from our competitors. They’ve promised the world & have barely moved the needle. What my partners & I always strive for with our clients is to not only execute the deliverables they’ve hired us for but to also educate them on the value we bring to the table. This way they understand why & how to achieve what they’re looking to accomplish when they hired us. As a company that grows from referrals as opposed to traditional sales, integrity in business is key & the driving force of growth.
