We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Paine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chelsea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I started my own business, I was working full time still. I decided to leave that full time job when I knew that I could financially support myself, but also when I knew that my ideas and my work were successful. The clients that I had in the beginning really propelled me forward, and gave me the confidence that I needed to take the leap of faith.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We actually take pride in the social media clients we represent, and we care about the kind of content that gets pushed out. We stay clear of stock photos, boring images, lazy captions. We ensure that all parts of social are being used, in order to reap the best benefits for our clients. We support local businesses only, Florida-based businesses, and love supporting and being a part of their growth. That is what sets us apart. We also are the only Florida-based influencer database.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ohhhhhhh. If they were coming to Jupiter then it would go like this:
Breakfast and Coffee at Perk
Head to the beach! Maybe rent paddle boards from Blueline?
Climb the Jupiter Lighthouse
Lunch at Papichulo’s
Happy Hour at Guanabanas
Yoga at Sawfish Bay
Dinner at MOOD
Drinks at Square Grouper
Other favorite local spots: TBC, 3 Natives, Carve Surf + Coffee, Tiki 52, Lynora’s, Dubois Park, Civil Society Brewing, Blueline Surf and Paddle
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family. They’ve supported my vision and dreams along the way. They also gave me my first client, Perk Coffee, in Tequesta, FL. I’ve gotten hands on experience from my family’s businesses, which really helped propel me forward.
