Meet Crystal Casey | Master Esthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Casey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
From the time I was very young I did not want to work for another person. I enjoy the freedom of my own schedule and to be able to spend time doing the things that really bring me joy in life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started out in my business working for some of the top spas in the area. I wanted to learn from and shadow the best in the industry. I then took that knowledge and implemented it into building my own brand and business. I researched certain procedures and then spent a lot of time getting certified in more advanced skincare. I love what I do because I really enjoy helping others. Self confidence is such an important part of a persons life and when we like what we see in the mirror, we are more confident. I like being able to help others with that. This is why I do more advanced skin therapy and have a semi limited menu of select services.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I live in Palm Beach and there’s so much to do! I would definitely take them to The Breakers Seafood Bar which is one of my favorite places. Then the dog beach w the pups. The Flagler museum. Maybe even a trip to Key Largo or the Bahamas for the weekend. During season pool matches are a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon and definitely a car show. Anyone who knows me knows I spend a lot of time at car shows!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many! I would have to say that my parents are a big influence. My father built his business from nothing and always taught me that I was strong and could do anything that I wanted as long as I worked for it. My friends and family are also incredibly supportive and I wouldn’t be where I am without them either. I also have to mention a book that completely changed my outlook on life and really allowed me to get out of my own way. The title is “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle. This book was a complete game changer for me!
