We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniela Misrahi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniela, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor for my success is that I built a strong brand based of myself. Born in Argentina, Buenos Aires and through many years of work in Miami, Florida I managed to generate a nexus that perfectly represents the local population where I solidified my career in the world of interior design. I was able to interpret the needs of the local clientele by introducing the latest European trends with the Latin touch and warmth that represents me.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Another key to success is teamwork. I think that leadership is not something that you do to people. It’s something you do with people as a team. I’m not only referring to the designers that accompany me in all of these years. I’m also referring to all the workers and vendors. Each one of them cooperated with me getting bigger and stronger as a designer.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first place that I would take her to in Miami, as an interior designer, would have to be the Design District. It’s known for it’s modern architecture, interior design stores and luxury fashion boutiques. We could eat at a celebrity chef restaurant and if she comes during the most glamorous time of the year, I will for sure take her to the Art Basel.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without any doubt, the secret to my success is thanks to my clients that I have known through out all these years and I dedicate it to all of them. Each client and their families represents a part of me and they have left a mark on my life. During the decoration process they open their hearts and share their life with me, making a lovely relationship.
