We had the good fortune of connecting with Eden Myers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eden, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
My work-life balance has certainly changed over time. I previously thought as a professional I needed to work long hours to build my business. However, over time I have realized taking a different approach is more effective and much healthier. As we age, things change. I believe balance is more of a cycle. It is a never-ending exercise of staying vigilant, being self aware, and adaptable. When I identified what I wanted for myself, when I took a look at my beliefs around my work and how much I thought I should work, it helped me determine changes I needed to make to experience better balance. Checking in consistently with self and shifting and adapting ones work life to be in sync with ones personal life is an ongoing pursuit. Also, checking in with what causes stress will omit underlying sources which can limit one from enjoying time at home.

What should our readers know about your business?
For the past 20+ years, I have worked closely with a company that harvests unique and life-changing superfoods. My persistence and “stick with it”beliefs have allowed me to pursue my passion and help guide individuals to better themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Allowing my intuition, my inner voice, to guide me is what has gotten me to where I am today. I have not necessarily always chosen the best path but the practice of self-care in the form of forgiveness and empathy has been key. I wish I could say it was easier than I thought it would be but it is the encouragement and support from others that have helped me stay strong. Consistent self-development and an open-mind to learn from successful leaders over the years have helped me overcome many challenges. I have learned to lovingly give my time and myself to develop strong relationships with like-minded individuals I can learn from and who will be there when I too need the help. E3live4life is about serving and giving to others, creating stronger communities, and helping to build a healthier and happier society. Boosting health and happiness and increasing one’s life satisfaction is our mission.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live on the largest man made lake in the U.S. We would enjoy taking the boat out and discovering the many serene swimming spots, fun and entertaining restaurants and dancing to live music. This is an area of diverse culture yet people make you feel at home. Even if we aren’t on the lake our quaint community offers a variety of life within walking distance including cycling, kayaking, yoga, and a gorgeous gym.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many who have contributed to my success. I must say my biggest contributor is my partner as he has encouraged me, propped me up when I felt like I would fall and in his somewhat firm but loving way has believed more in my abilities and potential when I believed the least.
