We had the good fortune of connecting with Emily Safran wands and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emily, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am from Long Island , Port Washington New York. I was raised in a Jewish home with loving support parents, a brother I looked up to and the most amazing grandparents who played a huge role in my life .

My upbringing taught me how to be an independent, patient, fearless leader .

What should our readers know about your business?
Lahh salon is Miami’s one stop shop! We offer luxury services by maintaining the integrity of your hair. Lahh salon stands for Lifes about Healthy Hair and we live this mission everyday from the continuous eduction to the cleanest products on the market.

What sets us apart from all the salons in miami is the attention to detail to our client. We provide one on one customer service from the second you walk in to the second you check out. Our artists no matter what level will never pass you off they start and finish your hair which makes the relationship with their artist so special , we are boutique size salon giving New York vibes , Lahh is a New York style salon in the heart of Miami Beach. Our staff is unique as we all offer a different unique style our training is from the best of the world . Our artists come from backgrounds such as a John Barrett , Oscar blondi , sally hershberger, and Aveda. We specialize in color , highlights, balayage extensions and more . we can’t wait to meet you!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would for stay at one hotel my favorite hotel in Miami!

We would go to soho house for beach and lunch as I have been a member for 6 years and love it!

We would have to hit up one of Kellies Barry’s classes Sunday service is the best

For drinks and dinner I would say my too 3 are surf club four seasons , il gabiano for the views and Italian food and of course mandolin for amazing greek!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout out to my parents . They pushed me to always follow my dreams and to never take a shortcut.

I knew I always wanted to open a hairsalon but with the guidance of my parents I first went to college , I graduated Hofstra university with a communication and marketing degree.

From there I continued you my journey to hair and shout out to luxury brand partners because of my role with you I opened lahh salon thanks to Arielle and mike for allowing me to partner and eventually take over an existing blow-dry bar Elle Air Beauty Bar and create a full service salon that Today is Lahh Salon! Lastly my amazing husband for never letting me give up and being my biggest fan.
