We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaronica Sneed and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaronica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my business was simple: I needed to create my own lane. For a very long time I tried my best to find a job in Corporate America. I went through a stage where I was extremely depressed because I didn’t feel like I was “where I was meant to be”. Social Media can make you feel as if you aren’t accomplishing anything, but in reality, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. I went through a countless amount of jobs trying to figure out “my passion”. Throughout this whole process, I was completing small projects for family members and smaller businesses but I never thought that it was “my time” to start my business. I wanted more experience in Corporate America so that I could have good savings before I started my business. I had a plan and it didn’t work out. 2019 was the year of discovery for me. I realized that the “dream job” that I had been searching for was right in front of me. It was my business. Within 2 weeks of starting my business, I gained 3 clients. I was ecstatic and amazed at how God was literally ordering my steps in my industry. I couldn’t believe that my once “10 year goal” was now my reality. I’m still amazed that I started Jai MadeIt Marketing with only a leap of faith and $40.00.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Jai MadeIt Marketing, we’re passionate about helping brands find their creative voice. Our one-stop Marketing Agency aims to help our clients thrive in a changing omni-channel world and leverage their unique strengths to build a personalized roadmap to success. At Jai MadeIt Marketing LLC, we believe in the power of ideas. We are based in Arkansas, but we work with clients worldwide. We thrive on making a difference to brands and helping companies make powerful audience connections. What makes our business uniqe is our amazing customer service and our ability to really meet people where they are. One of the most important lessons that we’ve learned in our first year is that there is no roadmap to success. Each and every thing we do has to be intentional.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
*Setting the scene: My friend just landed at 1:00pm on a Saturday in Arkansas* We would catch brunch at one of my local favorite spots: Baja Grill. We would then visit my parents so that they were able to catch up. We would end the night hanging out with our friends at Senior Tequila, catching up. Sunday: We would catch Brunch again, at Ya’Ya’s or Red Door. We would have a very tranquil day by hanging out at my house watching our favorite shows. I am very much a “homebody” but, I won’t ever turn down a brunch.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Id like to give the largest shoutout to God. My business would not be successful if it wasn’t for him. I’d also like to give a huge shout out to my friends. They literally pushed me and supported me throughout my entire journey. Whenever I wanted to give up, they were behind me, encouraging me to keep going.
