We had the good fortune of connecting with Tetiana Bohoslavska Orel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tetiana, what is the most important factor behind your success?
For me, success is not a final destination. In many ways, the moment we define something as “success,” we also create a stop. And if you stop for too long, someone else will keep moving forward.

I see entrepreneurial success as a continuous process — a constant cycle of setting new goals, taking on new challenges, learning how to balance, how to focus, how to choose, and also how to enjoy the path.

I would not define a successful person only by public recognition, money, the size of the company, the number of employees, or visible achievements. Of course, all of those things can be part of the story. But for me, true success is deeper.

A successful person is someone who has the freedom to choose. Someone who can set priorities in life. Someone who receives joy and fulfillment from the process of realization, not only from the result. Someone who sees the scale of their idea, understands the purpose behind it, and can find the path toward it.

At a certain point, you also begin to understand that money is not the ultimate resource. Money is a tool. It is not the final result. In some way, money can be seen as applause — a form of recognition for your energy, courage, and effort. But the real value is much bigger than that.

For me, success is also about the people around you: the teams you build, the partners who share your vision, the projects that match your ambition, your values, and your desire to create something meaningful.

So if I had to name the most important factor behind success, I would say it is alignment. Alignment between your values, your vision, your choices, your people, and the projects you bring into the world.

Especially today, in an era of polycrisis, success is not only about growth. It is about clarity, adaptability, inner balance, and the ability to keep creating meaning even in uncertainty.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an entrepreneur and creative director with more than 15 years of experience. For over 12 years, I created and led projects across Ukraine, Europe, and the CIS region. I was the founder of a branding and event agency, where I worked with brands, businesses, and private clients, building experiences around identity, emotion, and meaning.
After immigrating to the United States, I opened three business directions. Today, I am the founder of Piece of Cake, a Brand Experience Agency, and 5Keys, an Event Experience Agency. Both are built around one core idea: creating unforgettable experiences that reveal the true essence of a brand, a project, or a person.
For me, events are never just decorations, logistics, or a beautiful setup. An event is not a “container” where you simply put flowers, music, food, and guests. An event is a personalized story. It is a carefully built world that reflects the authenticity of a brand or an individual.
That is what has always set me apart throughout my career. I do not simply follow trends. I believe that for every person, every brand, and every project, you can create their own trend — their own language, their own atmosphere, their own story.
Stories are powerful. People want to read them, experience them, study them, and learn from them. That is why I believe we should not just produce projects — we should write stories together with our clients, brands, and teams.
I am also the producer of Kali Shankar, one of the leading astrologers and spiritual thinkers in the world. In that role, I see myself as an old-style producer — someone who does not simply promote a person, but helps reveal the depth of their personality through products, storytelling, educational platforms, and public presence.
For me, the most important part of my work is finding authenticity and helping the world read it. I see every personality, every brand, and every project as a script — a living story waiting to be discovered, shaped, and expressed.
So my art is the art of revealing essence. I create experiences, brands, events, and platforms that allow people to see not only what something looks like, but what it truly means.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To be honest, I no longer believe in perfect itineraries. I believe in the aftertaste of an experience — the feeling a person carries with them after the day is over.

If my best friend came to visit me in Fort Lauderdale, I would not try to show them everything. I would try to create a feeling they would remember.

Of course, we would begin with the water. Fort Lauderdale is a city of canals, so I would take them on a boat ride through the waterways, passing beautiful homes, palm trees, and the slow rhythm of life on the water.

Then we would stop somewhere like The Wharf or a raw bar by the water, have oysters, crawfish, maybe a glass of wine or champagne, and feel that very American coastal vibe — maybe even with a little Louisiana accent.

We would spend time near the ocean, not rushing, just slowing down. Because sometimes the best thing a city can give you is not entertainment, but space — space to breathe, to talk, to feel the sun, the salt, the wind, and the freedom.

In the evening, I would show them the night side of the city — maybe a rooftop, maybe a place with a view, where you can look at Fort Lauderdale from above and feel its lights, its movement, its energy.

But honestly, I think the most important experience would not come from the places themselves. It would come from the conversations we would have, the emotions we would share, the food, the aromas, the beauty our eyes would notice, and the way the city would open through our connection.

For me, immersion into a place happens through all senses: taste, smell, beauty, atmosphere, and emotion. So my perfect week would not be about checking places off a list. It would be about creating a memory — something warm, cinematic, and real.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely. First of all, I am deeply grateful to my family, to my team, and to my clients.

For me, people are the greatest resource. They are not only part of the journey — they define the quality of the experience we live through. Every person around us shapes us in some way: our clients, our partners, our team, even the challenges we face together.

I have always felt that my growth came through people. Through my clients, through my team, through the projects and products we created together. Each project brought me closer to the person I was becoming — and to the vision I had for myself.

I believe people are mirrors. A client is a mirror. A contractor is a mirror. A task is a mirror. Every situation reflects who we are at that exact moment — our values, our fears, our strength, our level of responsibility, and our ability to grow.

So my shoutout goes to the people who have been part of my path. To those who trusted me, challenged me, believed in me, worked with me, and sometimes even pushed me beyond my own limits.

And in today’s era of polycrisis and turbulence, I believe it is especially important to have strong inner and outer reference points — mentors, teachers, spiritual guides, and people who help you see more clearly. Because life is a game, but it is also a very serious journey. And the right people help you move through it faster, wiser, and with more meaning.

So I dedicate this shoutout to my family, my team, my clients, and my teachers — because without them, my story would not have the same depth, direction, or power.
