We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeffrey Tait and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeffrey, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?

When it comes to business, I think about relationships and growth. Ultimately, good business should be beneficial for everyone involved in the transaction – the creator, seller, buyer, and anyone in between. That’s what success looks like to me.

Especially during COVID times, watching and assisting clients in succeeding and expanding their business, employing others, and reaching more customers, continues to be a very rewarding process.

We’ve seen e-commerce brand owners go from packing and shipping their own products to having a fulfillment team, customer service, and more. That means more jobs created during a time when there’s so much uncertainty.

Local clients have expanded their business and ramped up their community drive as well. We’re seeing more local hiring, more Miami business relationships being formed, and more giving back to the Miami community.

At TFC, our mission is educational, genuine, and transparent marketing. Our goal is to protect the end-user. The more end-users we can reach through our platforms and clients, the more significant an impact we can make in distributing safe goods and information.

We also look internally. A big driver for us is innovation. We help each other expand creatively, make the most out of what we have to offer, and maximize our enjoyment of the day.

Attending conferences, events, investing in digital courses, and more, we strive to offer tools and resources to be our best. I am proud to say that TFC Marketing employs 30+ locally and 10+ nationally and internationally like-minded individuals who all want to make the world a better place.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

TFC Marketing is a full-service digital media agency responsible for our clients’ growth. We partner with businesses locally and nationally to help them reach their goals. We’re performance-driven and being a part of our clients’ success motivates us.

We are also focused on innovation. We’ve developed, curated, and acquired products, platforms, services, and other tools over the past few years that have led to breakthroughs in achieving our goals. These in-house tools allow us to leverage and grow our internal ecosystem, which ultimately leads to long-term sustainability and growth.

There, of course, have been many challenges that we encounter as a business every day. Starting from our dorm room in college, we have humble beginnings. It hasn’t all been sunshine and rainbows, but every day I wake up feeling grateful and truly blessed. I do my best to make the most out of the time I’m given here, and in the tougher moments, I just remember why I’m doing it all in the first place.

If you have a passion for what you are doing and the purpose you are serving, there are unlimited opportunities, and the world is yours. Something that I have always said and firmly believe is that there’s business out there for anyone who’s willing to work hard and smart for it. With the right mindset and support system in place for yourself, every day is a new beginning.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
They get in Friday night. We a have res at Komodo (after the Heat game!) – if we’re up to it, we’ll hang out at the lounge for a few upstairs.

They’re staying with me in midtown; they’ll love the scene.

Saturday morning, we’re walking to breakfast and getting our steps in. (or taking scooters)

During the day, we’ll check out the pool/gym downstairs and….. Saturday night, we’ve got some friends coming over, and if we’re lucky enough, Kenny (@k.lez) will bring his camera and bless us with his skills.

Sunday, we’re grabbing smoothies.. stopping by the office (quick tour), enjoying a meal with the fam (they love hosting my friends), and sending them off!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

I wouldn’t be where I am today without a few key people in my life. First and foremost, my family has been a driving force in my success.

From teachings early on with my parents to instill the right values, to the support and education from my older brother and so many others, I’ve been blessed with great support. When it comes to business, 10 years ago, I met someone instrumental in my growth as a leader. Chad is not only my mentor, but also a personal friend and now business partner in TFC. Chad has been there for me since day one. From working for him at Carma Connected, formerly Carma PR, to everyday advice, to being there for me when I ultimately make mistakes, I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.

They say that best friends are like family. I am blessed to have friends that have been in my life for 20 years now (I turned 27 in October), and they’ve been there for me through it all.
