We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesus Gonzalez and Jessica Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesus & Jessica, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Our thoughts when creating The Chef’s Alley were to bring different countries and culture together to an online platform in which people can express themself through an edible form of art, food.

The Chef’s Alley is an urban online platform for chefs that want to learn new recipes and techniques, challenge themselves and revolutionize the hospitality industry with amazing food, art and travel destination.

We care about abilities and talents of our community and how they acknowledge and embrace the unknown.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Creating an unforgettable experience is what sets us apart. We thrive to capture the essence of each dish while transmitting comfort, elegance and art through every picture we take. Being able to capture that perfection is the most exciting part of our job.

We had to adapt to the new era where everything is visual, hone our skills and continue learning in order to grow professionally. This process has not been easy especially when we had to change careers from Former Chefs to Entrepreneur / Producer. The key to overcome the challenges that life presented us was patience, practice, enthusiasm and passion for what we do.

One of the most important lessons we have learned is that we have to make sacrifices in order to achieve our goals. Being and entrepreneur is not easy and we have much more responsibilities but we do them with much passion because we are building our future.

Moreover, we want to share with the world that we have a compromise with our community to share our knowledge with them and educate them through amazing food.

Our brand represents an international bond in which we aim to unite different human beings through a combination of culture, food and art.

We see ourselves as dreamers walking through an alley searching for new opportunities and we want the world to see food as we see it, a piece of art.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would love for my friend to discovery the amazing beauty Miami has to offer. On her week long trip, I want to show her the beautiful beaches of Key West, have brunch at Wyndwood Art District and show her the galleries around. Moreover, I will take her on a walk through famous Lincoln Road and have dinner at multiple iconic Miami restaurants throughout her stay. She will love to have a pick at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Nonetheless, I will make sure she finds Miami fun, entertaining and as beautiful as I do.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to thanks God above everyone because he has always guided us to follow the right path and pushed us to achieve our goals. Moreover, we want to give a special recognition to our family and closets friends who have helped us unconditionally throughout the years while creating and opening The Chef’s Alley.
